Women's Health Alliance Taps Rella:Cowan to Promote Midwifery Practice
Durham, NC - Women's Health Alliance (WHA), a group of obstetrics and gynecological practices in the Triangle, have recruited Rella:Cowan, a strategic marketing agency based Durham, to help launch a certified nurse-midwife practice for the Triangle area. WHA is a well-established practice in the area with locations throughout the Triangle. The midwives will see patients in their Chapel Hill, Durham and Brier Creek office, and babies will be delivered at the Birth Place at Durham Regional Hospital.
"Expectant mothers in the Triangle now have a new option for their baby's delivery," says Mary Ellen Lowry, certified nurse-midwife with Women's Health Alliance. "And we're so glad that Rella:Cowan is our partner to get the word out about our midwifery care. With their marketing experience and our medical expertise, we make an exceptional team."
Rella:Cowan will be working with WHA to develop online and print advertising, social media, as well as public relations to raise awareness of the new offering. As the Brier Creek office opens in September, WHA plans to host free "Meet the Midwife" sessions every other Monday evening. Rella:Cowan will be helping the practice publicize these sessions, as well as generating word-of-mouth marketing and referrals for the midwifery practice.
"Rella:Cowan's creativity really impressed us and we loved their work," Lowry says, "We're so excited about our new practice, and it's great to be working with a advertising agency that's just as enthusiastic."
