Rella:Cowan Brochure Wins Award in Printing Competition
Durham, N.C. - Rella:Cowan, a full-service strategic marketing and advertising firm, recently received an "Award of Excellence" from PICA, the Printing Industry of the Carolinas, Inc., at its 43rd annual awards competition. Since 1966, the PICA Awards have been the premier symbol of excellence for the graphics industry in the Carolinas. The award-winning brochure was printed by Harperprints of Henderson, North Carolina.
The acclaimed brochure is being used as a sales tool, in conjunction with a new website and print advertising campaign, for Health Information Associates (HIA) of Pawleys Island, S.C. It features the new brand positioning Rella:Cowan created for HIA, highlighting multiple employees to reflect "the people behind the numbers." Rella:Cowan worked with Harperprints to feature unique printing techniques for a more compelling brochure.
"While we believe that interactive media, e-blasts and mobile apps are an important part of our clients' overall marketing strategy, sometimes people forget that print can be just as effective, if not more so," remarked Domenick Rella, creative director for Rella:Cowan. "We felt it was important to create a brochure that would not only reflect HIA's brand message, but that would be aesthetically pleasing and memorable. Harperprints was terrific in working with different kinds of varnishes to create a really cool effect."
